These terms cover your use of the AgentDx app. They also serve as its end-user licence agreement. Please read section 6 in particular: it is about changing production orgs.

1. Accepting these terms

By downloading, installing or using AgentDx you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. AgentDx is provided by KineticBit Inc. (“we”, “us”). If you use AgentDx for an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

2. What AgentDx is

AgentDx is a desktop tool that uses an AI model to read Salesforce orgs and, on your instructions, change them. It checks the org before it writes, asks for your approval according to the risk of each change, and keeps a journal so many changes can be undone. These are safeguards, not guarantees. You decide what to ask for and what to approve, and you are responsible for the result.

3. Your licence

While you have an active subscription or free trial, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use AgentDx on Macs you own or control, signed in to your own account, for your own work or your organization’s, including commercial work. You may not:

  • sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app, or offer it as a service to others;
  • share your account, or use AgentDx’s connection to Claude for anything other than AgentDx itself;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law does not allow that restriction;
  • remove or obscure any notice of ownership; or
  • use it in a way that breaks the law, or the terms of Anthropic or Salesforce.

AgentDx, its name, its icon and its code remain ours. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership.

4. Subscriptions, trials and billing

AgentDx is a subscription, billed in US dollars through Stripe, yearly or monthly. Prices are on the pricing page. The first 100 subscribers pay founding prices ($99 a year or $9.99 a month), which stay the same for as long as that subscription stays active. If a founding subscription ends, a new one is at the prices of the day.

Yearly plans start with a 7-day free trial, once per account. A card is needed to start it. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged; otherwise the first year is charged when it ends.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the app’s account menu; you keep AgentDx until the end of the period you have paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable, but write to us if something went wrong and we will look at it. We will tell you before a price change applies to your subscription.

Your plan includes Claude, which AgentDx provides through its own Anthropic account, with an allowance of usage for each billing month (or for the trial). When the allowance is used up, the agent pauses until it resets; the app shows how much is left. Your use of the agent must also follow Anthropic’s usage policy, and we may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

5. Your Salesforce orgs

Only connect orgs you are authorized to access, and only make changes you are authorized to make. Your use of Salesforce remains governed by your organization’s agreement with Salesforce and its own policies. You are responsible for every change made through AgentDx, including changes you approve and the small changes that AgentDx’s risk rules let run without a card in sandbox, developer and scratch orgs.

6. Changing production orgs

AgentDx can change live production systems. Test in a sandbox first, read every approval card before you approve it, and keep your own backups.

Undo is limited to what Salesforce allows. Some operations cannot be undone at all, such as anonymous Apex. Reverting a record change writes earlier values back, but cannot restore system fields such as LastModifiedDate, cannot stop automation from running again, and does not undo what other automation changed as a side effect. Validation, analysis and test gates reduce risk but cannot find every problem.

7. AI output

The agent’s answers, code and proposed changes are generated by an AI model and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when grounded in your org. Review them as you would a colleague’s work before you rely on them, and do not rely on them alone for security, legal or compliance decisions.

8. Third-party components

AgentDx includes components from others, among them Anthropic’s Claude agent, Salesforce’s MCP server and Agent Skills, the PMD analyzer and a Java runtime. Each is provided under its own licence, and for that component its licence applies alongside these terms.

9. Updates and availability

AgentDx downloads updates automatically and installs them when you quit. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering the app. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will keep working with every future version of macOS, Salesforce or Anthropic’s API. We have no obligation to provide support, though we will try to help: write to us.

10. No warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, AgentDx is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this may not apply to you, and nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, records, metadata, opportunity or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use AgentDx, including any change made to a Salesforce org, and any change that could not be undone.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for AgentDx in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of AgentDx in breach of these terms, the law, or your agreements with Salesforce or Anthropic, including changes to orgs you were not authorized to change.

13. Ending this agreement

You can stop using AgentDx at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting the app. Your licence ends when your subscription or trial ends, and automatically if you break these terms. Sections 6, 7 and 10 to 15 survive the end of this agreement.

14. Trademarks

Salesforce and Apex are trademarks of Salesforce, Inc. AgentDx is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Salesforce.

Anthropic and Claude are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC. Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. They are used here only to describe what AgentDx works with.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and the courts of Ontario, Canadahave jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and the current version will always be at this address. Continuing to use AgentDx after an update means you accept it.
